DDTank is a 2D/3D Turn-Based Action MMO similar to Worms and Gunbound; however, unlike these titles DDTank can be played entirely through your Internet browser.

Additionally, DDTanks offers players a wide range of tanks (characters), and a plethora of weapons that range from heat-seeking missiles that automatically zone in on an opponent, to bazookas that require skill and timing to perfect, but inflict maximum damage. While many of these weapons can take time to learn to use properly, DDTanks succeeds in making the gameplay 'casual friendly' by adding multiple game modes, room types that segregate high level players from beginners, and a sensible learning curve that allows for a 'easy-to-learn/hard-to-master' style.

As such, DDTank requires no download or lengthy sign-up process, yet still offers a full Turn-Based Action MMO experience allowing you to play alongside friends or against them in team-based, strategic action hybrid gameplay.

In terms of gameplay, DDTank fits neatly into a genre rarely seen in the video game world. The concept is simple, 2 teams of 4 players are pitted against each other taking turns to inflict damage on thier opponents in order to win the game. There are 2 ways to eliminate a player from the game; you can kill them using a variety of weapons and strategies, or you can knock them from the map with powerful skills. Once a player has been defeated, it's up to their team to eliminate the remaining opponents, or lose the game.

Winning a game will also offer you EXP (experience) that will increase your characters level, offering him new weapons and abilities to use in future games, and a player shop that offers a variety of more powerful weapons, items, gadgets and an enormous selection of costumes that allow you to personalise your character to suit your individual style and taste.

DDTank also offers a variety of game features to break up gameplay ranging from the Game House that acts as a lobby, to the League Room that allows you to create and join 'leagues' filled with other players, the Wedding Chapel that allows you to MARRY other players, and the Romantic Spa-A that lets you relax and network with other player, share past experiences and discuss new strategies for future games.

In summary, DDTank offers a rare Turn-Based Action Hybrid experience; take turns to eliminate enemy players using a wide variety of different weapons and abilities, level up to get new skills, and buy cool items and costumes from the player shop to look awesome while you do it. And as DDTank is played directly through your Internet browser, you can start playing in less than a minute!
