Overview
League of Legends is a Free-to-Play Massive Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game inspired by the wildly popular Defense of the Ancients. Two teams (3v3 or 5v5) go head-to-head in action packed PvP combat controlling one of 81 different champions.
Teams start on either side of the map and must fight their way down lanes on the map, each lane consists of defensive towers which must be destroyed to reach the enemies base. Players of Castle Defense games will find League of Legends very similar in this way, to win destroy the 'Nexus' at the enemies base. With over 15 million active players LoL is the number one MOBA game available today.
