The Chase is a 2D Browser-Based MMO that will see you take control of an Agent and hunt down targets in more than 38 major cities all over Europe. The Chase offers two distinct gameplay modes, Single-Player Story Missions and Online Player-vs-Player; however, both modes offer similar gameplay styles: track your opponent, either computer controlled or another play, and using clues found scattered throughout Europe, bring your target to justice.

Team play is also a major part of The Chase; each team consists of up to 5 agents (made up of other real players), and as such, cooperation is a fundamental element of play. You’ll need to coordinate your plan with allied agents, using the initial clues given to you at the beginning of a mission, and spread out across Europe to find additional clues in order to find your mark.

In order to access Europe you’ll need to use a variety of different transport methods, such as planes, trains and cars to travel between the many cities of Europe in search of additional clues. Once you have arrived at your destination, you can visit a variety of differ locals, such as hotels, bars, airports, train stations, parks and travel agencies.

You’ll also have access to a variety of gadgets that can be used to assist you in your mission, such as computers, PDAs and televisions; however, never underestimate the power of human persuasion. In many cases, the best information can be found in people – bartenders, hotel receptionists and even guests and tourists may be the difference between capturing your target, and missing him by a few minutes.

Of course, the technological gadgets do server their purpose: you can access mission data, examine clues you’ve previously found, access environment data and communicate with your team. Once you’ve completed your mission you’ll unlock a number of additional jobs that you and your team can accept, expanding your equipment options and unlocking new locations to search and explore in future missions.

But, of course, the most intriguing element of The Chase is by far the Player-vs-Player aspect; the thrill of the hunt is intensified a hundred fold when you begin tracking another real player, and the most rewarding elements of The Chase can certainly be found here.

In summary, The Chase in a Browser-Based MMO that caters to those of us that enjoy the life of the spy.
